    hi
I dont know anything about this brand apart from a few people saying that its the second or third best laptop company in the world.
I am about to buy an acer travelmate 4151lmi but i saw this Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pro V2040 with almost the same configuration. Is it worth going for it?
    What are the odds?
    Any expert replies appriciated.
    thanks

They don't sell that line in the US, but Fujitsu is very strong when it comes to quality. All specs being equal, I'd take the Fujitsu over Acer.

try look for Uniwill reviews. most of the Amilo line is built on Uniwill models.

Well after doing a bit of research on buying my first laptop, i came across certain models of fujitsu amilo m series but i am very unsure about this brand. Besides, they have excellent features for the price and looks aswell.
I saw few asus models aswell like m6v and w3v but they a little expensive and that company is new to me aswell in terms of notebooks.
The model whic i am looking at is this:

    http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/asp/spec.asp?V_ID=4804

Is it better the asus models that i have mentioned above? The configuration is almost the same. But my question is less about the specs and more about the overall quality, reliability and performance.

The type of notebook i am looking at is quite obvious from my selections above so any remondations are appriciated.

    Thank you

Asus and Fujitsu are both very good notebook manufacturers. Fujitsus have enhanced LCDs though, which I prefer. Other than that, both awesome. (Many people here actually prefer non-enhanced LCDs)
