Im very happy with this news, especially the new models with a 17" and PM chip which seem to be in a N6 case!

Two models especially interest me. One is a 17" with a choice of a Turion CPU or an older PM 1.7GHZ.

The other one is a 17" with a cool black case with the new PM 1.86GHz CPU and dual hard drives!

While these are exciting, don't assume we'll see all of these in the US.

As Brian says, we've never seen a Loox branded device in the U.S., only LifeBook. I seriously doubt we'll see these state side. But certainly we might see their features integrated into the LifeBook series here in the U.S.

And for those of you living where these notebooks will be sold. I'm jealous of you [ :)]

Im hoping they will at least release it in Asia [ :D]

I've been waiting for a 17" Centrino notebook from Fujitsu for a long time. Shame the cheaper NB series has intergrated grahpics.

I will just have to wait till my n6010 wears out for one of these. Damm that will take years :( It would have beennice to have a quieter fan and better battery life but I could not be happier with my laptop.

These new machines will probably only give you the same battery life as the N6. It has a claimed battery life of only 2.5hrs! Maybe its the screen and dual hard drives. Its also as chunky and heavy as the N6. I would have expected a lighter and thinner notebook since it uses centrino.

Seems like Fujitsu is doing what Toshiba did with their Qosmio Series.

I dont really like the idea of 2 harddrives, as it will be useless to me.

Anyone care to explain what "DXII" means?

I think its just Japan's interpretation of "Enhanced CV". The DXII screens i believe use what they call 'dixel' technology.

If anyone wants these Laptops, I could always buy them here (tokyo) and sell`em via paypal/ebay etc to anyone in the US/Canada.

I`ll sell them at store price plus $25 to cover my travel/time costs, and buyers will pay for shipping & duty/taxes!

    email me if your interested.
