I was hoping to write up a full review, but haven't yet had the chance. In the meantime, here are a few benchmarks taken from the system straight out of the box, without shutting down any running processes :

    3DMark 2003 11,661
    3DMark 2005 5,839
    3DMark 2006 3,142
    PCMark 2005 4,628

    SuperPi 2M 1m02

    Impressive !!

Other features briefly, the screen is the best I've ever seen on a Notebook, the sound is very impressive (2 speakers + subwoofer, with Realtek Audio Drivers), the keyboard is very responsive, with a handy numeric keypad, although some of the keys take a bit to get used to. My model here in France came with an ExpressCard DVB-T Hybrid Analog & Digital Tuner which works like a dream. The computer is very quiet, doesn't heat up too much although can be a little warm at the handrests, the fan rarely runs or runs quietly and the 2 hard disks are barely audible even when putting your ear up against the computer.

Only problem I've found is that I can't seem to get Norton Ghost 2003 to work, I think it's a problem with the USB 2.0 drivers when rebooting into DOS, although it seems a lot of people are having problems with Ghost 2003 on newer laptops. Would appreciate any help ?

Overall I'm very happy with the laptop !! Let me know if you want any other info.
