This machine looks like it has great specs. Does anyone have any opinions about it?

(I was interested in gettiing the S7020 until I read reports of it getting very hot.)

It only gets warm because it is made out of magnesuim alloy. Its suppose to get hot on bottom instead of over heating, it releases the heat. Thats why it is called a notebook, not a laptop. And YES the S series is amazing for portability and battery life :)

It is new; I rang Fujitsu UK and they said it was going on sale on April 20. It has a Core Duo processor and 14.1 screen so it different from what you have. Perhaps they ship with different numbers in different countries?

Dang, I this computer is perfect except I wish it had something more like an ATI x1400 GPU in it.

Well their business line was never expected to go with wide screens. Just like IBM's T series line.

I don't see what makes you laugh! wide screen is not a must. Personally I care less for wide screens, and wouldn't mind a standard form factor at all.
