    HI there,
i am just wondering how is the wireless connection working for those with S6311.
I am using netgear as my wireless router and i can only pick up 3/5 bar of the connection. I have sony, Hp and dell and all the three laptops pick up 5/5 signal. I talked to the Fujitsu technician and basically he asked me to live with it and admitting that their wireless antenna "maybe" is not as good as the others. Honestly, i am very suprise to hear that as Fujitsu laptop is considered as one of the good brand. So, i would like to get some information from those who used Fujitsu S6311 to tell me about their wireless connection. Because of the poor signal connection, i experience drop out from the internet easily.
Another problem i experienced is the "high pitch" sound coming out from the left side of the laptop. The sound is not loud but constantly high pitch and it is going to drive me mad. This problem only happen when i turn on the wireless connection and with the wireless off, the laptop is quiet. Anyone experience this problem? I believe the problem must have something to do with the "wireless part".
After talking to the Fujitsu technician, i find their service pretty poor. Instead of offering to help, they start telling me that they will charge me for the courier as well as the service fees if they do not find any problem. Honestly, this will be my first laptop with them as well as the last one too.
Any input from you guys will be very much appreciated.

don't own that laptop but it is using intel wireless 3945 ABG. You may try check
what wireless on others are using if theres any difference. Most laptops have either intel brand or atheros brand and both are good, while some says atheros is a bit better.

I think the customer service have problem helping that because the wireless card itself is a good brand either way.
