Well, this is a little old news now but i didn't see a topic on this so thought i would start one.
These are the computers that Fujitsu showcased at CES.

You can find most of these laptops specs if you look for them on the Fujistu Siemens website.

Do any notebooks take your eye?
I like smaller factor notebooks so the P770 appeals to me but it is not a serious contender as i not long bought an ultraportable. However, the S760 of all the recent laptops i've seen spec wise is pretty much on what i want. With my current setup i prefer 13.3 to 13.1 laptops.

However, i really wish Fujitsu could pay a bit more attention to style.

You can see more pictures of the notebooks below.

I don't like they have put a scroll wheel on the palmrests. It looks a bit odd to me. I love the looks of the S6421 series and wish we could get something like that in the UK.

I like the fact that this laptop has a modular dvd drive which you can swap in with another battery. I also like that it is using a full powered core i5 processor and the most powerful Intel graphics.
I also like the fact that it uses a real matte display. At 1.6kg though it is for sure very light. Some models in the US seem to come with optional Nvida graphics. It would be great if the graphics card was switchable.

    Edited to add:

You can get skins, i guess that is not so bad but they could still improve on the designs of some laptops.

I think the S760 is a serious contender for me, hopefully the performance and display is good.

I'm waiting for the E780 model very eagerly. Don't quite know when that is expected to hit the Canadian online store :(
