How can I get the application panal to control music (MP3) CD's. I want to be able to rewind, stop, pause, play, and fast foward. I would like to be able to do it through Windows Media Player.

Also when I open the Application Panal CD Player and I have an MP3 CD inserted, it says "NO CD" Whats up with that?

Thanks in advance and any help is appreciated.

I don't like wasting my CPU power & memory on stuff like that, I probably can click on a shortcut icon faster than hitting one of those buttons.

I played with it.....but it doesn't seem worth it. Quick Launcher on the taskbar is faster than hunting for buttons.

I realize that there are better ways, but since it is there, I though I would ask about it.

I wish they used those five buttons for the security code unlock sequence like in the earlier S6xxx series notebooks.

I was also wondering about that security code thing. Is is true that the S6210 does not have a security feature within the application panel?

Not that I can tell....it looked pretty slick on earlier models:

Right now I have a BIOS lock set....do you do anything special??

My last laptop was stolen and I just had my Windows password....I know someone has hacked that because someone is pinging my PayPal account.

No I dont do anything special with security passwords. I may look into it more and implement something on my system.

I just got my S6210 and I too would love to use the Media Player buttons (located on the top) to control iTunes/random media.

I spoke to some useless Tech Rep from fujitsu (web chat) and she just kept saying that if it doesn't have a tap under the Application Panel (under Control Panel) then no it cannot be used.

Just me but I don't believe she was very certain about it.
