Fujitsu Amilo m1437g Ram Problem

I was boght this laptop last week .And in he's configuration say he has 1 gb DDR, but i was install the Windows Xp Sp2 and then i click at propietes at My Computer to see the configurantion. He say this :
System : Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2
Registred to : Davidd

and...

Computer : Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 2.00 GHz
800 MHz, 256 MB of RAM
Physical Adress Extension ...


And if i go at Start ... Select Run : and write dxdiag he open me the Direct X

Here say also this :

As it is it looks as if you have only 256 mb.
