As a result of Brian's rec ref a trusted site for purchase of the 3510, I pulled the trigger yesterday, spoke with Ivan ( suggested by Brian ) and he helped me configure it for my uses. He was patient, honest with his suggestions ( in several instances he suggested a less expensive choice ). Portable One is expecting a shipment Friday. I'll see how delivery goes-----

Good luck to you. I'm enjoying the demo unit I'm playing with.

I'll post first thoughts this week, running battery stress tests now. So far it's very nice.

Do you think that Fujitsu will be offering the N35XX with more choices for the processor and an upgraded display? That nice display begs to have a higher resolution than merely WXGA. :)

I have also looked at portable one due to the good reviews people on here give them. When you say they will adjust it to the specs that suits you, how much are they willing to change on a system. I really have like the Fujitsu 3510 except the video card. Is that upgradeable?
Also has anyone had experince with the Portable One laptops they look alright but I havent seen any reviews about them yet.
    Thanks

Hey P-dogg, funny you should ask about the portable one laptops. I recently got the MX. I am TOTALLY loving it. Ivan told me it had the best non-glare display, and as usual, he was right. Not only is the sxga resolution nice, but everything looks so crisp and bright. the unit is SOLID, and you can tell it's a very well-built machine. To tell you the truth, it feels more solid than the S6210 that my mom has. I got the MX with 1.8 (dothan), 60GB 7200 rpm HD, and for now i have 1Gig of ram. it can handle anything i throw at it. I've been meaning to post a detailed review on it (with hi-res pictures and everything), but i've just been swamped at work. (not sure if you know, but the P1 MX and UX laptops are basically rebadged Asus units). Hope this helps. if you have any other specific questions, just let me know.

No, you can't upgrade the vid card, not at this time anyway.
