    Flickering screen on S6240?

    you mean the backlighting is flickering or the display's pixels?

    Well, basically the image on the screen shakes (suddenly off the proper position for less than 1 second then back to normal). It just happens once a while.

    I experience the same problem on my S7020D now that I downloaded the drivers from Intel. Before I downloaded those drivers I had a problem with the screen shifting as mentioned in a previous thread.

    Download the new driver from intel would solve the problem.

    I just got my new S6240 yesterday and I'm facing this problem too. Going to try out the new drivers - hope it gets solved!

    I installed the new drivers and the flickering problem went away for me. Thanks martin5kh.

    Yes. the driver works for me too. However, when i contacted the Fujitsu support they didn't recommand me d/l-ing the driver...o well...watever. problem solved anyways.

    Hi guys,

    I'm looking to get S6240 really soon, but the LCD flickering issue is holding me back. How many of you guys have this problem, and does updating the driver make the problem go away?

    It appears to be a small problem that driver updates rectify. If you get one and this happens to you, you can send it back should a driver update not help. That is, if you buy from Fujitsu or someone like Portable One.
