Which would be a better screen for use outdoor in an E8210 the WSXGA+ or Crystal View WXGA display?

And out of curiosity, what is the difference between Fujitsu's CrystalView and SuperFine displays?

I'm thinking of purchasing an E8210 in the near future but have to buy it sight unseen. Now only if Fujitsu would put the Core 2 Duo processor and an X1600 video chipset in it...

"crystalview" = brightview = truelife = xbrite= asus version of glare screen... they are all pretty much the same in terms of the fact that its a glossy brighter version of the screen (intensity of brightness may differ) and all glare screens are good for outdoor use so sun doesn't blanch it all out... the glare deflects the sun's rays while still passing through the laptops light rays and thus allowing you to visualize the colored spectrum of light off your lcd and not have it drown out by the uv spectra intensity light of the sun which would in essence "blind" you from your laptop... i hope this helps... add to rep if it does please!

Thanks hbomb174, your explanation did help.

I, too am waiting patiently for the C2D & a better chipset. I want to order the N6410. Have called Fujitsu a couple of times, but their "order takers" were not even aware of the C2D news release from Fujitsu back in late July.

Did you know that you can get a 10% discount (if ordering directly from Fujitsu)? Go to the http://winfujitsu.com site & register as a Small Business Owner. When you give your email address, Fujitsu will send you a code good for a 10% discount for your next order. And maybe win a new lappy Q Series or even a 2007 Audi Q7!

I have to wait a few weeks anyway. Hopefully, in that time, they will "refresh" the E8210 to offer the C2D T5600.

I can get a nice discount though my work. But thanks for the information.
