Have also asked Fujitsu (no reply yet), but maybe somebody here can supply the information.

I need the part number for O2Micro cardbus controller used in the E8020. For example, the S7010 uses the O2Micro 0Z6933.

    Thanks,
    Harvey

I'm at work at the moment and my E8020 is at home so I can't check for you directly but downloading the PCMCIA drivers from both the Asia-Pacific and US Fujitsu websites suggest it has the O2Micro OZ711Mx controller.

Edit: Now at home ... under PCMCIA adapters, Device Manager reports

    O2Micro OZ711M1 MemoryCardBus Controller
    O2Micro OZ711M1 MemoryCardBus Controller
    O2Micro OZ711Mx MemoryCardBus Accelerator

Thank you. FWIW, the issue concerns a compatibility problem between the O2Micro hardware and the Belkin pre-n pc card. Both O2Micro and AirgoNetworks are checking out these issues.

On another note, how do you like your E8020D? Specifically, how has the performance, reliability and run time on battery been?

    Thanks,
    Harvey

I've had the E8020 for about 3 months now and have been very happy with it.

The build quality is excellent as is the LCD panel. It runs very quietly and the performance is also good.

I basically use it as a desktop replacement so always run it on AC so can't comment on battery life.

It's also a bit hard to judge reliability after 3 months but it hasn't skipped a beat in that time and it's on 24/7.

& how to turn it off before OS loading? For example, in bios?
