Anyone have any experience with an E8000 series notebook and the Belkin Pre-N PC Card and Router? If so does it work properly?

    Thanks,
    Harvey

I got the NetGear version of the Pre-N router. It works great with my T42. I'm still waiting for the card to test the range.

I was robbed by a sweet little old lady on a motorized cart and I didn't even see it coming.

Thanks for the input. The issue is one of "start-up power surge" exhibited by the Belkin (and possibly the Linksys) Pre-N PC cards when used in laptops which utilize the O2Micro Power Controller chip (most likely in systems which have the O2Micro Cardbus Controller). The E8000 series appears to use the O2Micro Cardbus Controller, hence my question.

    Thanks,
    Harvey
