I did some reading and it seems that my C2330 has some uniformity issues. I have 3-4 areas of the screen that are noticeably brighter than the other parts. Usually an LCD will have one bright area and it will dim out the further away you go from it. However, this has 3-4 areas that do this.
I am not sure about the acceptance level of Uniformity with Fujitsu. Does anyone know or have experience with this?
If you want to check your LCD for this, get a program called "Dead Pixel Buddy" and have it display true white across the screen. Look at your LCD and try to spot any variations in light intensity.
Thank You

I don't know what their formal policy is, it will surely depend on how long you've had it. I know some S6000's had a similar problem, but I haven't seen anyone with an S6231 complain about it yet.

I have Fujitsu calling me Monday about it. They told me it's certainly not a common problem.
I will send it to either Fujitsu or P1 for a LCD replacement.
Everyone I show this laptop to points out the problem....

ChaosBlizzard, just how bad was your screen? I'm contemplating whether or not I should contact Fujitsu about my screen also...I definitely notice the variations in intensity but its not so bad after I adjust the angle...

I had several large areas that were different in color/light intensity.
I just shipped my package out via DHL second day.
Fujitsu sent me the packing box via FedEx overnight, so they must agree it is a defect.
Does Fujitsu warranty cover LCD Uniformity?
