Hey guys, so after about a year and a month...my N3510's video card seems to be fried. Getting erratic scramblings even before the OS is loaded. Anyway, I'm guessing that the video card is built into the mobo, and the only other issue would be mobo problems, so if I send it in to get fixed they're just gonna end up replacing that right? How much do you guys think that would cost? It's not even been 2 years and the price at the local store has dropped to $800 cdn, and if the replacement would cost me close to the same amount ($50 just to get it checked at Fujitsu's ASP) I think just buying it new would be better and also have another year of warranty on it (and this time I could correct my mistake and purchase a longer warranty).

Also, I could simply just save my money and buy another laptop, though then I'm not sure what I would do with the broken one. But yeah, probably from another company as I am kind of peeved that the notebook ran into problems right after my warranty was expired...kept good care of the machine too. At least their tech support is very nice. What are some of your thoughts, guys?

a new mobo/gpu will cost you upwards of $400 u.s. in the end, it may just be better to buy a new notebook and perhaps sell your notebook for parts on ebay or something.
