Does anyone know Fujitsu's exact dead pixel policy?

This is what i found on their website:

"It is natural for all thin-film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal displays (LCD) to show a small number of missing or discoloured dots. These are commonly known as non-conforming pixels. This is a technology limitation of TFT LCD and does not represent a defect. Fujitsu warranty does not cover limitations in technology such as non-conforming pixels."

    Here's what Newegg says:

**Dead Pixel Policy: There must be 7+ dead pixels in order to obtain a replacement notebook.

(guess I will never order a notebook from newegg! 6 dead pixels is ok?)

NewEgg is not a good place to buy notebooks. If you get it from www.portableone.com they'll do a dead check before sending it to you.

I'm just going stir crazy as I track it's progress (via UPS) from Osaka, Japan to P1 at San Jose, CA. It was missorted at a hub, left in a facility causing delay, and now the word is it's warehoused until it's released by a clearing agency. Once P1 gets it and they do the upgrades and send it my way, I will start to calm down. [:)]

Is it true that Portable One will check every laptop for dead pixels regardless of configuration ordered?
