    Hi,
    I live in Singapore and would like to know if the DVD player in Lifebook S6220 is region free. If not, is there anything I can do (that isn't too dangerous and could result in the damage of the drive) to view DVDs from other regions, i.e. region 1?

    AnyDVD works pretty good for watching region free discs.

    Did you mean good for watching discs of any region instead? Cause region free discs are supposed to be readable in any most dvds.
