I've read a lot of reviews/posts that absolutely rave about the amazing CV screen of fujistu. What then, does the SXGA+ offer that the CV doesn't for an additional $50? I don't play games and do very little, if any, photo-editing. I mainly use the web and office applications. What would be better suited for me? What are the main differences between these two screens? Big weight difference? Reliability?

    Thanks

    SXGA+ = 1400x1050
there is no weight difference or reliability difference. Just personal taste? Personally I wouldn't recommend such a high res for a 14 inch screen.
If you want to simulate such a resolution on a desktop it would be like having having 1400x1050 on a 15' CRT or aprox 1280x768 on a 14' CRT ... what i mean is that text can get pretty small in size (dpi)

But at the end it is up to you!

Right, it offers a higher resolution, and it sounds like you don't need that. The CV is great, though it's totally personal preference, I think the CV sounds like a better fit for you.

Yeah, the CV screen must be good. But, they add a gloss finish screen instead of a matte finish screen so if you work in an industrial/commerical company with a lot of flourencent lights for example Best Buy or Circuit City then there would be a lot of glare. How much glare is there on the P7000?

I really think glare is a non issue. Changing the viewing angle solves the problem in almost every case.

Yeah, I guess it usually does. But still, it shows a little more glare than a non-CV screen would.
