    Hello,

i have a question before actually purchasing the laptop that i want.

I am very interested in the Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Xi 1554, but since i live in Holland, where it is not available, i have to purchase it in Germany. It comes with a German version of Windows Vista Home Premium.

As i have a Dutch version of Windows Vista Home Premium myself, i was wondering if it is possible to do a clean install on this laptop with my own version. I think most drivers are available on fujitsu site... Also, would it matter if i installed drivers from the dutch fujitsu siemens page? Or do i have to install the german ones from the german fujitsu siemens page?

    Thanks!

EDIT: I called Fujitsu siemens and they told me it might not be possible to install a different version of vista because of some security thing. What do you think?

I don't think it would matter much, as long as they are the correct drivers for that notebook, they will work irregardless of language.
