Cheaper alternative to T904 but still have - All day battery, wacom convertible, corei5or7, 13+ inch, ethernet cable?

Unfortunately I think the answer this question may end up being
    1. Refurbished/used T904 (How would I get this?)
    2. Some convertible in late 2014/early 2015 with Broadwell

What are your thoughts on the above and two and do you have any other ideas?

There are Wacom alternatives but they aren't cheaper. There are alternatives with N-trig, namely the Acer Aspire R7-572, Sony Vaio Flip, Sony Vaio Duo, and the Asus Taichi 31. If you're willing to have a 12.5" screen, your Wacom options include Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga, a few older Lifebook T models, and the ThinkPad X230t. If you're willing to go keyboardless, your options include the Wacom Cintiq Companion which might just barely be cheaper than the T904 (but I doubt it), and the Fujitsu Stylistic Q704.

If you can't afford a T904 now , just wait until 2016 or later. Fujitsu tablets tend to last years so you can buy a used one later when the market value goes down enough.

Fujitsu is known to make high end tablets so of course their products can't be too cheap.

Edit: Why don't you buy a Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 now and wait until the T904 goes down in price and you can afford it.
The T5010 is great for note taking but it isn't a fancy machine. I get around 5 hours max with two batteries and an SSD (and WiFi off).

Fujitsu's ebay outlet. You only get a 90-day warranty, but you can buy extended ones from them. I got my T901 refurbished here. If you're lucky, they may even through in freebies. I got a modular bay battery that wasn't mentioned in the auction, and I've heard of others getting something similar.
