I tried burning pictures to a CD-R with my Fujitsu S6120D. The burn worked (i.e. the pics are on the CD) when I view the contents of the CD on the laptop, but when I put the CD into my Dell, and when my brother puts the same CD into his machine, the CD shows up as blank. Is there a simple explanation for this?

Not that I'm aware of. I haven't seen any issues like this with my P5020.

You may already know this or have thought of it, but it's the only thing I could think of:

Depending on how you format the CD-R, it may be that only machines running the same burning software as your machine can read it. You also may need to close the session and or the disc. I know EZCD Creator has a button/box to check when ejecting that says "close CD so it can be read on other computers".

Problem solved. The CD was not closed (I thought it was, but apparently the software is finnicky).

    Thanks for your help.
