    Hi,

I've got a problem using plugin headset mic on my C1320 (RealTek ALC260). The driver software recognises that a jack has been put it but there is no sound from mic. I've been through "Sound and Audio devices" in control panel and gone through all the steps and there are no mutes etc turned on.

I've tested the headset mic on my P5020 and also a desktop and it works fine and also tried another headset without success.

Fujtisu Australia said that a recent update from Microsoft was to blame and asked me to uninstall the driver, restart and then reinstall the driver from the lifebook website.

This failed to fix the problem

I have only recently tried to use the mic so I can't say whether it worked or not before the microsoft update.

I called Fujitsu again and they said that my only option was to do a system recovery with the recovery disks, however, it seems like a drastic measure to take especially as everything else is working fine.

Any help would be appreciated to avoid doing a system recovery.

    Thanks!!
