i hope someone can help me. i like fujitsu laptops a lot and i really want to order one. unfortunately i'm living in new zealand (no offense to nz'ers) atm and fujitsu is an unknown brand here. so i was thinking of getting one online. but i've never bought anything online. most of the online shops are located in the u.s and there isn't much option in making an international order ( i think).....so any suggestion on how i can get me one of those gorgeous looking fujitsu laptop from new zealand? (i'm just a student without a job XD so i hope it wont be too expensive) can anyone help?

Are you asking if there's a charge for an international phone call? Uh, yeah, I don't know of anyone offering free international calls, at least not in the US and not through traditional phone companies. Try email if that's a problem.

lol dumb me XP anyway, does it make a difference if the laptop is made in china or japan? i just feel better if it's made in japan but there's quite a big difference in price.... is it worth the money to get a japanese made rather than a cheaper china made one? just wondering.

For me, it is worth the extra $$$ since japan QC is better. I rather pay a bit more for quality and knowing that my notebook will last.

People keep talking about how their notebook shipped from Japan, but I haven't seen anyone actually post that the sticker on the bottom of their fujitsu reads "made in Japan". Mine was made in Taiwan. An N5010 I bought just over a year ago.

Many are made in Japan, the Fujitsu P7000 is for instance.

That settles it, then. Some, indeed, are made in Japan. Too bad mine wasn't. I'm glad that it hasn't died yet. Come on 2 more years... No whammy, no whammy!

The Fujitsus I've been looking at (S7020,S7021) are made in Japan.
You could try ordering from a company here in Oz - www.cworld.com.au
for example has the best prices I've seen on most Fujitsus in Oz.

The website stated above indeed does have the best prices. However, from personal experiences, customer service is not their top priority.
