    Hi everyone,

I need a laptop for the start of September, and after much research and forum lurking, I have decided on either the Asus w3v and Fujitsu 7020. I wanted to get the new s6240, but I'm in Canada and I can't wait till the end of August.

Pricewise, I can get the w3v and 7020 for about $2170 and $2130 Cdn respectively, so price isn't the issue. I know a lot about the w3v (great specs and design, somewhat weak speakers, right palm heats up a bit), but not too much about the 7020. I have yet to see a fujitsu vs. asus comparison, so I was wondering if anyone can give me some insight between the two.

I had a chance to play with the W3V in person and it felt much heavier than the specs indicate. I ended up with the S7020D because weight was big consideration for me, but I'm quite disappointed with the light leakage on the Fujitsu SXGA+ screen. I'm getting it replaced under warranty so I'll find out if it's just my particular screen or if all of them are like that. From what I've seen, the XGA CV screens looked better.
