Anyone has S6240?

Anyone has S6240? Can you share your thoughts with us? Like is it good overall or how long battery life can you get under what usage?

Saying about three hours on battery.

 

like i said, anyone have experience with the battery life. i don't put much faith in paid reviews. we all know how to find 'cnet'.

 

Do you think they are going to off by an hour or two? s6240 is still fairly new, you are gonna have to wait for some reviews from users.

 

i'm trying to find out from someone that owns the machines. in general pro reviews mean nothing. there is a reason that we're on this website and not cnet.

 

I think both types of reviews are good. More information is a good thing.

 

I found 2 good reviews from some chinese websites, they both mentioned the battery on S6240 can last about 200 mins under regular usage. For those who can't read chinese, at least enjoy the pics..

once again, from anyone that actually owns one, how long does your battery last?

remeber, the thread says "anyone has a s6240?" not 'anyone read a review?

i just bought one last week.

battery life is almost 4 hrs. with the main battery. i think it can go up to 8 hrs (fujitsu said..) if u use the modular battery + main battery. (my s4510 with both batteries lasts 6 hrs..so...) i doing normal web browsing.. i havn't tried any ram-sucking applications (ie. eclipse) yet..

fan kicks in frequently..think it's b/c of the new processor it has on it...but heat-wise it's just from the bottom u won't feel any heat on the keyboard or the palm-resting areas. (my old s4510 heats up everywhere..)
