Bought my wife a A1110 laptop for Christmas, with 3gb ram, 250gb HDD... Its running Vista 32bit. Would there be any advantage to upgrading to 4gb of ram?

My understanding is Vista 32bit can not address more then 3.5gb of ram anyway....?

No offence, but did you actually use the search button regarding this issue?

The only benefit could be dual channel, if you had 2 mathcing modules and the system supported it.

I think you should read on Intel FLEX ....4GB on x64 means more than dual channel and a 5 % increase in bandwidth.
