    My problems:
    1) Don`t detect that i close the lid!?!?!?!? Where are sensors????
    2) Some fan (probably CPU) start randomly at very high speed once of hour for about 3 seconds. Even if silent mode button is ON.
    3) No any software for monitoring and control maniboard, gpu, cpu, fans...... If anybody have something like Dell or other manufactures utils please post!!!
    4) From time to time i have some noise coming out from my speakers. It`s like "pssssssss", and it stop when i put volume to min, or mute. It is not a constant noise, i found this very strange. When i had 2 OS XP and Vista it`s coming on two of them. So it`s not a driver or other software issue.

If you wondering to buy or not, read the review. I`m 100% agree with.

I`m hope all of you to post here their experience with amilo xi 1526.

    Welcome to NBR King,

    1) Are you sure that you enabled the option "Enter Hibernate when lid is closed"?
    2) I dont think that is random. The notebook builds up speeds and needs to cool that heat. It may look random to you, but I dont think it is random. Silent mode can be on, but if the fan would not run it could damage the notebook.
    3) You cannot control fan speed or something, but you can measure the temps of your CPU, HD's and video card. Use Notebook hardware control for CPU and HD. GPU is supported by nVidia.

    1) no i did not. I`m enabled option "turn off pc when........ on battery" and "go to sleep when.... on power supply" :)))). Yes I check all of those.
    2) i`m using laptop in vista balanced mod, it leave CPUs to 5% in idle mode. I thing that in this mode minimal fun speed must be good.
    3) 10x i`ll try this software. So it`s mean that over and underclocking is impossible. "Notebook Hardware Control requires Windows 2000, XP or Windows Vista 32Bit" - don`t work on my vista x64 i tried.
