    Hello world,

i upgraded the laptop of my girlfriend to use Vectorworks and Archicad on it from a T2050 to a T7200 and from 2x512MB to 2*2048MB and from XP to VISTA64bit Home Premium.
The point is everything is working fine and really fast, because the BIOS and the OS show only 3.3GB. The BIOS is up to date (1.14c).
Where are 700MB gone? Whats wrong with the machine? Any Reason?

    So long

Chipset limitations. The 945 chipset cannot address all 4 GB of memory, even when using a 64-bit OS.

    Kinda sucks. :/
