Hi i have problem with Amilo 1536... Graphics card is overheating (x1400), i've tested on Furmark... It shut down laptop or shows blue screen after about 50-150 seconds. I've tried to decrease freq of core/mem but didn't help... Maybe relaxing timings will stabilize system?

    Any suggestions?

Take it to service if you still have warranty.

    Otherwise...

    For heat issues:
Goto Control Panel -> Power options -> Power schemes tab -> Choose 'Always on' from the dropdown menu and press OK. This will make the CPU run at maximum clock even when idle. Also make sure that Powerplay is On and set at maximum performance when plugged in (AC) in ATI Catalyst Control Center.
Now, download Hwmonitor, install it, run it and let your computor idle for atleast half an hour (preferably more if you just turned on the computer). After that before doing anything else, write down the temperatures on HWMonitor's 'Value'-column for each component (ACPI, CPU, GPU, HDD..) and post them here.

    For blue screens:
Do you get any graphical issues ( like these) before the BSOD (=BlueScreenOfDeath) happens?
Goto Control Panel -> System -> Advanced tab -> Click the 'Settings' button under Sartup and Recovery settings -> Under the System failure section -> Untick 'Automatically Restart' -option -> Click OK.
This way, when you next time get a BSOD the system wont boot automatically, so you can write the message down and post it here.
(Note: now, if BSOD happens you need to manually boot the system with your laptop's power button.)
