    Hi all,

I noticed there isn't much discussion here about the Fujitsu P8010. Is that because it isn't a very popular device, or simply because no one has questions or issues with it?

Anyone out there with a P8010 care to comment on it? I'm getting tired of reading the same two NotebookReview.com reviews over and over again. :)

    Wow, no one?

Does anyone know any forums that are more frequently visited by Fujitsu notebook owners?

I just don't think Fujitsu notebooks are that popular in North America, and in Europe it is Fujitsu-Siemens, which is practically a different company from what I understand. I own a Fujitsu S6510 that I'm happy with.

Go to Leog.net, they have an excellent forum on Fujitsu's P series.

Here's their section on the P7000 and P8000 series.

Check out these very informative threads for the P8010 (called Loox R in Japan) for starters!

Just my own personal opinion here, but Fujitsu seems to have lost their way a bit. When I first came on this board the Fujitsu S6000 and the ThinkPad T4x were really close competitors. It was just a matter of whether you wanted wanted a glossy screen or not. Now the T61s Fujitsus equivalent the S6510 is considerbly more expenive. While it's a very nice notebook, most people aren't going to spend that kind of money when you can get something else that's almost as good for less. Just my 2ยข.
