This one goes out to all your LifeBook owners. I'm looking for some good accesories for my new notebook. I have ti set up besides a crt monitor which i will use as a dual monitor when the notebook is stationed at home.

I'm looking for a stand, or cooling pad, or something to rest the laptop on while its at my desk. I will be using it as my main machine, and my desktop machine will be now used for storage and music.

Anyways, if someone can recommend something for the mentioned above it would be appreciated. Would you suggest eBay or to go to an actual store and get one?

If you know of any other nifty accessories for this bad boy, please share!

    Regards,
    Nick

I'm curious as well, especially which notebook bags/backpacks work well with it. I've used a Podium CoolPad with my Mac notebooks while using them on my desk. Just having them elevated seems to keep temps down, but a Core Duo might be a different story.

How are you liking the new notebook, Nick? I've still got 8 days until mine arrives from Fujitsu Japan. Trying not to pull my hair out. :p

EDIT: Holy Smoke! Just noticed this is my 200th post. Man, I need to get out more.

Nah. It was just the default on Portable One's order page, so I just left it that way. Was curious to see what it was all about. Besides, it's supposed to be based on XP Pro, and it was $50 cheaper than the XP Pro CTO option. I will probably get Avertec's ExpressCard TV Tuner when it becomes more widely available, though.

And congrats on your new notebook! My should leave Asia day after tomorrow. I've kind of fallen into a grudging acceptance by now. Not so wired about it anymore, although that will probably change as soon as I see a tracking number.....
