    Whats are the differences between these two?

    Ecost has the 5020 for $1440 (256MB)

    Aside from the memory, which you've already noted, the D has a B/G wireless card and that's it. If you don't need the memory, that eCost price is very good. I would caution though, that eCost is known for selling refurbished units, so you may want to call and make sure this is not the case. It also looks like this one is out of stock as well.

    You might think so, but I've heard many reports otherwise. They also have a horrible reputation filling rebates in a timely manner. That said, I've purchased from them probably a dozen times with no issues.
