Is there a way to upgrade the grahics (x300) on this machine? or is there any news about a newer version of the 3510 with maybe a faster PM and grahics card in the future?

Anyone know a time table, cuz I dont mind waited 2 or 3 months if thats the case!

    1-NO, the chip is soldered.
2-No known upgrades as of this day. I would think it would be a while before the N3510 gets an upgrade seeing how Fujitsu are already over a month late on the S6000 upgrade.

I think a 128MB card is going to happen, but like qwester noted, I wouldn't hold my breath. Sony is adding a 128 to the FS, so maybe that will spur Fujitsu.

I doubt any upgrades to the N3510 in the near future. Fujitsu doesnt have a record of updating their notebooks very often unless a new generation of CPU comes out. Also this keeps the customers happy unlike Sony who likes to update their products every few months. Even if they did decide to upgrade the GPU, i think the most they would do would be a 128MB X300, which would not be much difference anyway. Any higher graphics would require more ventilation and a redisgn of the case. So i doubt that would happen.

Really is a pity. With an X600 or 6600 the N3510 would be the perfect machine. CV display, quality build etc.
