I have been having the well know 2200BG connectivity problems
with my new N3510. I have a Netgear WGT624 router.

Just curious if anybody has tried the IBM granted version 9.0.1.21
in any recent model Fujitsu with the 2200BG? Any luck fixing the
problem if you were having it? Seems like this is definitely
an Intel issue, not the router or Fujitsu.

    2200BG v9.0.1.21 (standard from Fujitsu is 9.0.1.9)

I have an E8020 with the Intel 2200BG wireless card.

Like most others, I had major problems with the drivers
that came with the laptop when connecting to a Netgear DG834G.

I decided to try the v9.0.1.4 drivers mentioned in the
    Networking and Wireless thread.

These work much better for me although the speed can still
fluctuate but rarely drops below 11 Mbps. The current stats
have about 90% of transmit and receive packets at 48Mbps and
    above.

Could try downloading the one from Intel's website.

I did install the Intel version 9.0.1.4 from Intel with the
PROset application that it comes with. All is perfect now
and I did not change any settings. I am using the Intel
utility to manage the connection instead of windows, but
doubt that had anything to do with it.

Coul also have been some interference from something, but
sounds like the original driver had issues. My netgear
wireless router knocked out my XM Radio reception nearby,
had to move it somewhere else - took me a while to
    figure that out.

The IBM driver for the wireless card for my T42 for Win 2k would not work unitl I downloaded the Intel driver.
