Does anyone know where I can buy this item? I want to comparison shop but so far, only BestBuy, J&R, and Amazon are the only places I've seen that carry it. Know anywhere that can beat $1550?

Sadly, BB has most of the eMachines market. There really aren't many choices, I think you've found most of them.

OfficeDepot.com and maybe some of the other office supply store type places sell EMachines, not sure if they have the 6809 though.

Just remember that if you buy from J&R that you will more than likely not have to pay sales tax.

I just bought one from J&R last night. Call them, they knocked %50 off the price and reduced ground shipping to $15. With the $100 rebate I'll pay $1515!! Best deal in town.

Tell them you are thinking about getting it at Best Buy because you can get 18 months free financing. [ :D]
