It should have nothing to do with the 64-bit. What's the problem?

The USB are working fine.. i move my mouse to any and all of them and it works flawlessly.

here is the deal.. i have a desktop with xp-pro sp2, and my eMac running home with SP2.

With the same version of AIM running i can establish a video chat on my desktop and not on my computer.

It may be a driver issue, but it shouldnt be.
I thought I remember reading some one on these board that loved his eMac but noted its only draw back was a web cam issue. I may be mistaken sorry for taking up your time. Have either of you actually used a web cam sucsessfully?

When you installed the webcam - did you install it according to the instructions?

I had an Ezonics EZCam Pro webcam years ago (which was an excellent product unlike the majority of their wares!) and I'm not sure of the actual scenario but I could not get the damn thing to work.

When I spoke to technical support they advised that I would have to format my system in order to make it work - being the "know it all" that I am - I refused to do that and ended up with god knows how many returns and replacements.

In the end I formatted my system and installed it - it worked perfecly [:I]
