Hey guys...when i first got my 6805 a while back, i bought it used from someone. This person helped me out and got the laptop to stay in 1800mhz when the AC power was on.

Now that sometime has passed, i needed to clean up my laptop and didnt a restore to start over fresh. However, i cant seem to get this AMD Powernow to work.

Ive tried tons of installs, back and forth, cleaning up as much as i could in between. I still do not get a AMD Powernow option in my Power schemes. Im using home with SP2 and all the updates via windows updater.

Searched and searched...here, notebook review forum, hardocp forums, amdmb, nforcers...nothing....

All i want is the while the AC power is on, the cpu is at 1800...when im on battery, i have no problems being at 800 for battery life.

My best quess is to put it in always on desktop mode when plugged in,
Or install NHC ,its power on demand setting always have worked for me
    on these laptops.

Create a power scheme yourself. Im using Vista and when you create a powerscheme you can select processor performance when on batt and ac. Just set when on ac min 100% and max 100% hope this helps.
