Lemme guess, still freezing up during games and wondering if it's heat related? It could be. I have the full version of SereneScreen 3D Aquarium that I use as a burn in/benchmark program (it has a fps counter). When running it fully loaded with fish it will tax any system. Mine was running hot enough to cause reboots after about 30 minutes and actually had to cool down for awhile once before I could boot. Get a cooler pad.

If you are not overclocking and are having heat problems I would exchange the laptop. There is no reason it should be overheating at stock speeds. Mine runs distributive computing (100% CPU usage) 24X7.
