2 gig pc3200 Mushkin enhanced, 7200 rpm HD replacement, XP Pro clean install (no Emachines stuffs, straight XP Pro Corp)......added a 4000+ (with bios's from Fizi's) and new DVD burner.....then just used it...

time to go dual core, decided WTH, why not punch this sucker in the arze and get a bit more performance before the new lappy comes....tried Centon and Simpletech mems too, the Mushkns is so far superior to either.....

13x212 so far, Prime 95 stable, using wireless, so i don't know for sure about how far i can push the PCI (i suppose i could plug in the ethernet and see)back in the day i remember 35 to 37 was normally the breaking point to blitzkreig the bus on desktops......

    laterzzzz.....

LOL, updateness, 13x215.6 (clockgen), 2.8gig......prime stable, yummy...

Did you find a dual core CPU to work in your M6810?

In the OP, you mentioned that you were going to try dual core. I asked if you were successful in the followup. Your follow-up said no. I had my hopes up on dual core, and you dashed them.

    uh, dual core, yes,

once i figure out how to stuff a 939 in a 754 ziff, LOL.

what i meant was a complete lappy upgrade, like in getting a new unit....i was just punching the old lappy out to see what is, that's all...
