Has anyone here had any experience getting the sound drivers for the m6809 to work with Gentoo Linux?

I tried compiling my kernel with ALSA sound support as a module, and the VIA 8233 driver (Realtek AC97) as a module, but it still just won't work. alsaconfig is telling me that it can't find any PCI or PNP compatible sound devices.

(My kernel version is 2.6.9-r14 if anyone is curious)

    Thanks, Chris
