Now if Micro$oft would get off their lazy butts and get us a stable 64 bit OS and accompanying Office Suite...
Not like they didn't see this coming...
And they've got so many freaking employees...
I'm sure they've got guys sitting around, ya know, "just thinkin' s--- up."
So why wait for demand to pick up, rather than be ready to hand it to us? Makes me think about going Linux for the first time (I heard rumours that there's a stable 64 bit Linux out there somewhere...) -
Here's the link to all their new laptops. Some are using Intel Chips. The M6809 appears to have a larger hard drive but the same amount of base RAM (64mb). When they come out with a model that has 128 or 256 I will sell my beloved M6809. Until then, this is the best laptop on the market for the money. Right now Best Buy has it with a 200 dollar rebate. Pretty good!

Even if they do get it working half way decent there still are no 64 bit apps to take advantage of it. I did not buy this for the 64bit capabilities I bought it since it was the best bang for my buck. If they would have had the Intel hyperthreading at the time I would have bought that instead since it is more practical now.
