i know the m6810 has 512 ram, but does it have 2 256 sticks or does its have one 512 stick? If there is 2 256's, then did anyone just sell one 256 and just buy a 1G stick? Or did you take out both 256s and put in two 512s?

The M6810 comes with 2 256MB sticks, only one of which is user replaceable without voiding your warranty. Best Buy will replace the other one for a fee without voiding the warranty.

Newegg caution: Newegg is great, but the Kingmax SODIMMs they sell doesn't play well with our notebooks. The Transcend memory seems to be fine though.

Original equipment is Samsung and can be purchased here, along with Micron, if you so choose...
