Hi, I notice this netbook (according to website) has an option for Bluetooth.

WPAN: Bluetooth® 2.0+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate)
    (manufacturing option)

So I have unscrewed the plate on the underside of the unit and inserted a Bluetooth miniPCI Express card (off a dell) but Ive noticed there is no cable for the antenna?

I also don’t have a small screw to hold the card in place…

Any suggestions on how I can get this thing working?

Normally if you get this model with bluetooth the module is installed internally and not done via the mini PCIx slot.

What can I do to get this working?

Can I install an antenna... Is there an antenna in the case somewhere that I can connect up?

ok installed the card (broadcom 370) but the broadcom install driver does not detect the device.

Do I need to enable the PCIe slot somehow?

I believe bluetooth mPCIe are usb, so you'd need to have USB pins active on the mPCIe slot. Usually that will be the case for WWAN slots, but wifi slots use pci-e pins, so won't work there.
