    eMachines E625 damaged USB-ports repar

    I now have E625 machine with physically damaged USB-ports. Except for those the machines works fine. I'm thinking of replacing them but I wonder if any USB 2.0 port will suffice as I have those additional USB backpanel things for desktop machines lying around, I wonder if I could make use of those instead of having to order and wait for replacement? Are all 2.0 ports the same, electrically compatible?
