Updated my 6805 to SP2 in the past day or so. Just prior, I updated my BIOS to the latest 6811 bios with total success. XPSP2 is running very smoothly, and using with the latest Omega video drivers (and overclocked both CPU, video, etc.).

The biggest improvement I have seen is in the network connection stability. Every time I'd hibernate the computer in the past, I'd have a @#$#@!^% of a time getting the connection back (cable or DSL). On wireless I'd have turn off / on, detect new proxy settings, sometimes have to reboot, and even with a wired connection the same on the reboot. With SP2, I've had success every time connecting immediately without having to go through the usual pain in the ass workarounds. this is of great utility to me personally!

I've had no other issues. I am using the latest ZoneAlarm and Norton Antivirus, and both working smoothly (prior versions as we all have heard caused real issues).

Will post if any other +'s/-'s surface

How did you get SP2? I check updates and it's not listed as available yet.

I also installed XP2 (as some are calling it) a few days ago. So far I've been really impressed, seems really stable and the increase in security seems good. I also agree with the improved wireless performance seems to be working much better on my machine as well. So far very happy.

I did not need to upgrade the BIOS at all. I got the IT version, and installed it on all of the office systems, each with no problem and no BIOS upgrade. So far, I have had no lockups. I did need to reinstall my Omega drivers.
