    XP SP3 and AMD?

    There are reports that XP SP3 causes major problems with AMD processors. I am using a M6811 and was wondering how SP3 works with other M68**, or if any problems were observed.

    I have the turion MK-36 and it works fine.

    If you read the reports carefully, they are linked toward HP AMD users. Seems that HP had a corrupt or invalid registry entry that was screwing up several computers.

    The glitch is supposedly limited to HP desktops running XP SP2 from the factory due to HP leaving behind Intel processor drivers on the system which tries to load causing the issue...
