Does anyone know where the antenna is located on the notebook and which wire that connects to the lan card is the antenna cuz I'm thinking of maybe trying to boost its range cuz I know thinkpads have their antenna along the top of the screen.

The wireless card is found under the larger cover on the bottom near the battery. It is refered to as the mini-PCI slot on page 26 of the users manual. Good luck and don't forget to post your results [ :)]
