It's a good deal & as I work at wally world and had that sale off I got one. I have fully disassembled & reassembled it to judge its upgradability & I was blown away!
    It has 2 ddr3 slots with 2 1024 chips I plan to swap with 2 4048 chips
It uses a standard intel socket & I found a core2 quad on newegg I can swap it for
There is a 4pin header on the backside the mobo sandwiched below the keyboard frame I plan to take to a friend for electrical testing but my current hypothosis is it is a usb internal header for the webcam assembly on higher end models. If this is true I plan to buy a tiny 4port usb splitter a virgin mobile celluar modem(45month for unlimited) and a gps dongle. I'll have to get my art's n crafts mcguvering & soldering going on but I plan to install inside the case.

it has a mono speaker true, But 2 wires fed into a 4pin header (2empty) I plan to get some nice speakers(high end headphone and or headphone jack only powerd speakers and get the stereo going on.

this laptop sucks in its own right as a laptop but for a system builder who wants his/her laptop his/her way I dont think I could have stumbled onto a better platform to start from!
