I have reinstalled the mouse/touchpad software about 4 times. It is really a pain to disable the mouse pad since it takes like 10secs each time I try to go into the program. Also I wish somehow it could autodetect no usb mouse and turn itself back on.

1.) Can you make one of the hotkeys go directly to the touchpad disable screen or better yet toggle the mouse pad like every other notebook out there?

I have found a solution to diabling my touchpad. I cut a piece of cardboard (actually a picture postcard was the right thickness) to fit over my touchpad.
I then put a piece of tape on one side to work as a hinge. Works for me give it a try. :)
