Hi, I am planning to buy the emachines M6811 at BestBuy down in the State and am wondering if the rebates are good for Canadian up here.

Have any emachines fans done this before?

Or if you know there is another way to do please let me know, eh?

I'm from Toronto, and I've done it with the Best Buy in Amherst NY, almost 3 weeks ago. I still waiting for any of the rebates, and really hope to get tham. The thing is that before buying my laptop I called to the Best Buy rebate centre (number is on the rebate form on the Best Buy web site) and have been told that they can't see any problems in mailing rebate to Canada. She also told me that I need to allow like an extra week or so to get my rebate.

Btw. sales persons at the BestBuy store does not seem to know anything about it, so there is no point in asking store directly. Deal with the rebate centre.
